Given the immense talent in our minyan and the larger community, we thought it would be fun to get together, see some great entertainment, and support Kol Rina at Open Mike Night at Kol Rina, 60 Valley Street in South Orange on Saturday evening, March 29, 2014. We will also have a Goods and Services Silent Auction to add to the fun.
If you would like to perform or know someone who would, please contact Amy Cooper ([email protected]). Len Levin has graciously volunteered to be a piano accompanist to anyone who needs one.
If you would like to join the planning committee, please contact Amy, as well. We need to recruit performers–musicians, story-tellers, stand up comics, magicians, jugglers, performers of any kind.
We also need volunteers to help with the Goods and Services Silent Auction by securing the goods and services. Be creative! We already have donations of an authentic home-cooked Moroccan dinner, an hour of color consultation, a piece of artwork and handmade jewelry. Other ideas include chiropractic visits, massages, an hour of financial planning, kosher restaurant gift certificates, tickets to sporting events, housewares, electronics–the list is endless.
