Shavuot - Kol RinaShavout Programming 2013

May 14th – 8:30 pm Tikun Leil Shavout

Tikun Leil Shavuot will be led by different members of the minyan at the space. Please bring a dessert to share.

The study sessions will be as follows:

8:45-9:15: Natasha Cooper-Benisty, presenter

“The Ten Commandments: If You Had Written Them, Would You Have Changed Their Order?”

9:15-9:45: Lisa Paley, presenter

“Souls. Have we been around before; is there life beyond….?”
(Supposedly, all Jewish souls were at Mt. Sinai during the giving of the Torah.)

9:45-10:00: Nosh

10-10:30: Avram Rips, presenter

“Moses, The First Teacher and Cultural Transmitter of the Jewish People.”

10:30-11:00: Nikki Pusin, presenter

“Moses, The Man.”

Shavuot morning services will be  followed by Yizkor

May 16th – Annual Shavout Dairy/Parve Picnic 

Annual Shavuot Dairy/Parve Picnic held at the Benisty home
